In constructing a new map the distance used to
calibrate the scale may not be readily available.
To identify the map scale used in a previous map
drawing:
- Open the old drawing and commence to draw a
new paddock
- Click on the start position of a line that is
suitable for setting the scale in the new map then move to the
next point
- On clicking on the second point the distance is
displayed in the distance recording box
- Click undo to exit the new paddock

- Use the distance to calibrate the new map
scale
