How
to set up a new
calibration for GrassMaster data entry
The GrassMaster equations can be setup in Feedpad
QA so that after the data has been downloaded it can be
re-processed to the new calibration and updated in the paddock
database.
The calibration uses the same variables that are
set in the GrassMaster:
These are:
Offset: an additive adjustment
for feed cover
Slope: the multiplier for the
capacitance (CMR) reading
Intercept: the variable that determines
where the slope crosses the DM axis (0
offset).
These variables may be set using the
updown controls as seen below.
Alternatively select a standard calibration.
Once
the calibration is set the data
is stored. The stored information is applied when data is processed when the
"Use own calibration" checkbox is checked. This may be while
downloading new data or re-processing saved
data.
