Set the
scale by using the menu
Tools>Set scale by distance then click twice
to set the red line at the start and end of a known distance. Then
enter the known distance in the text box replacing the default
value of 1000. For maximum accuracy set the scale on as long a
distance as possible.
Then draw the first padoock. On
clicking the Done button on completing the first paddock it opens
a dialog box for saving the file where you enter the name of the
map (e.g. firstmap) It automatically has the suffix .mpp. The
dialog box has a file name text box to enter the name of the map
file as below. From then on it automatically saves subsequent
paddocks to that map file as they are drawn.
Paddocks can be deleted later or
angles shifted using Edit>Paddock or object
(or use the Edit button in the
toolbar)
